What moves a bridal makeup quote in Dubai: the trial, hair, the number of women, travel, an early start, lashes and deposit terms, and what to ask before you pay.

The bridal makeup price in Dubai is not one number. It is a small sum of decisions: whether hair is included, whether the trial is part of it, how many women are being styled, where you are getting ready, how early the artist must arrive, and what the deposit terms are. Two quotes that look far apart often include different things. This page does not list prices, ours or anyone else's; it tells you what moves a quote, and what to ask before you pay a deposit. What decides the cost
Makeup alone, or makeup and hair
The single biggest difference between quotes. "Bridal makeup" from one provider means the face only; from another it means face and hair by the same artist; from a third it means two specialists working in turn. With us, bridal makeup and bridal hair are separate services with separate prices, and a hair stylist is a second pair of hands, which also changes how early the morning starts.
The trial
A bridal trial is a full run-through of the look at home, weeks before the wedding, with photographs and notes kept for the day. It is sometimes bundled into a bridal price and sometimes quoted separately. With Hamd Beauty it is its own service, hair and makeup together, booked and paid on its own. A quote that does not mention a trial has not included one.
How many women
The bride is one chair. Her mother, sisters and bridesmaids are more chairs, and each one is a service with its own price. The number of women also decides how many therapists come, because one therapist can serve only so many women in a morning. Our Bridal Studio lets you add each person and her services and see the total change as you do.
Where you are getting ready
A villa in Mirdif and a hotel suite in Dubai Marina are different journeys with a full kit. Some of the areas we serve carry no travel fee and some carry a fee; the studio shows it for your area before you commit. Our areas page lists where we go.
How early you must be ready
An early start moves the whole morning earlier and may need an extra therapist to keep it civilised, and some providers charge for hours before dawn. With us the timeline is worked back from the time you must be ready, and the team's arrival is part of the plan you see and approve.
Lashes, henna and the rest
Ask whether false lashes are included in the makeup, or charged as an extra. Bridal henna is a separate service with us, usually two to three days before the wedding, and our bridal beauty timeline puts it and everything else in order.
Deposit and balance
Every bridal booking involves money before the day. With Hamd Beauty a 30% deposit holds the date, and the balance falls due 7 days before the wedding; nothing is charged until the concierge has confirmed your team. Other providers use different shares and dates, and the terms matter as much as the total.
Who pays for the bridal party
There is no rule, and there is no need for one. In many families here the bride's side covers her mother and sisters, and bridesmaids and guests pay for their own services; in others the bride covers everyone in her room; in others each woman books her own. What matters is that it is decided early. Tell the concierge who is paying for whom, and the plan is built that way, so nobody is passed a bill on the wedding morning.
What to ask before you pay a deposit
Ask these whoever you book with, ours included.
- What exactly is included? Makeup, hair, lashes, the trial, touch-ups, travel. Get it in writing.
- Who is coming? The artist you met at the trial, or "a member of the team"? With us the trial is booked with the same artist where her calendar allows, and she keeps the notes and photographs for the day.
- How many women, and how many therapists? And how early does that mean the first person starts?
- What is the deposit, and when is the balance due?
- What happens if the date moves, or the wedding is cancelled? Is the deposit returned, transferred or kept?
- Is there a charge for early hours or for the location?
- How is hygiene handled? New mascara wands, sponges and lip applicators for each woman; brushes cleaned between them. Our hygiene page says how we do it.
If a quote cannot answer these clearly, that is the answer.
