Emirati henna
Also called: Traditional Emirati henna and Old-style Emirati henna
The henna style traditional to the Emirates, from the older solid fingertip and palm patterns to today's fine Khaleeji trails.
Emirati henna is the local branch of the Khaleeji style. The older, traditional patterns are simple and strong: fingertips dipped in solid colour, a filled circle or band on the palm, and lines along the fingers, designs that were drawn at home for weddings and Eid long before cones and fine nozzles. Modern Emirati work keeps that boldness but adds the flowing floral trails now seen across the Gulf.
When women search for Emirati henna they usually mean one of two things: the heritage look, with its dense fingertips and geometric palm, or a contemporary Khaleeji trail described as Emirati because of where it is drawn. Show your artist which you mean. Both take around thirty to forty five minutes for the hands.
The paste and the stain are the same as any natural henna, lasting around one to three weeks. Hamd Beauty does not list Emirati henna as a separate style; its Khaleeji henna covers this look, and you can ask for traditional elements when you book.
