Nail art
Also called: Nail design and Nail decoration
Decoration painted or placed on the nail over the colour: lines, dots, flowers, chrome powder, glitter, foils or small stones.
Nail art is anything added to a nail beyond a single colour. It ranges from a thin line or a single dot on one accent nail to hand painted flowers, marbling, ombre fades between two colours, a chrome or pearl powder rubbed over cured gel, glitter, foil and small crystals fixed with gel. Most of it is done in gel because each layer can be cured before the next.
Simple art adds ten to twenty minutes to a manicure; detailed designs on all ten nails can double the appointment. Art lasts as long as the gel beneath it, though raised stones can catch and lift sooner. Bring a picture: the same words mean different things to different people.
Hamd Beauty does not list nail art on its menu. Its classic and gel manicures are single colour services. If you would like a small detail, write it in the booking notes and we will say whether it can be done on the day.
