Brow lamination
Also called: Brow lift and Brow perm
A treatment that softens and resets brow hairs so they can be brushed up and held in a fuller, more uniform shape for several weeks.
Brow lamination uses the same two-step chemistry as a lash lift, applied to the brows. A lifting lotion relaxes the hair, the brows are brushed into the direction wanted, usually upward and outward, and a setting lotion fixes them there. A tint and a shape are often done in the same visit. It takes around forty five minutes to an hour.
The effect lasts around four to six weeks, softening as the hair grows. It suits brows that are unruly, flat or have gaps that can be covered by redirecting the hair. It gives less on very sparse brows, since it moves hair rather than adding any.
The brows should stay dry for the first day and be conditioned afterwards, as the process can leave the hair drier. The lotions can irritate skin, so a patch test before the first treatment is the usual advice, and it is not done over broken or inflamed skin. This is general information, not medical advice.
Hamd Beauty does not offer brow lamination at present. Brow threading shapes the brow without chemicals.
We do not offer this at present. It is explained here because people ask about it.
