Brow tint
Also called: Eyebrow tinting
Colouring the brow hairs with a semi-permanent dye to make them look darker, fuller and more defined for a few weeks.
A brow tint colours the hair of the brow, and lightly stains the skin beneath it, with a dye made for the face. The therapist chooses a shade close to your hair colour or a touch darker, applies it with a brush, waits a few minutes and wipes it off. It takes about fifteen minutes and is often paired with a shape or a lash tint.
On the hair the colour lasts around four to six weeks. The skin stain fades within a few days, which is why the brows look strongest in the first week. It suits fair or greying brows, and brows with fine hairs that disappear without pencil.
Tints can cause allergic reactions, so a patch test one to two days before the first appointment is standard, and the dye should be one made for brows, never a hair dye. Not for broken or inflamed skin. This is general information, not medical advice.
Hamd Beauty does not offer brow tinting at present. It offers brow threading and the lash lift and tint.
We do not offer this at present. It is explained here because people ask about it.
