Lash extensions
Also called: Eyelash extensions and Individual lashes
Synthetic or silk fibres glued one by one onto each natural lash with a semi-permanent adhesive to add length and volume for several weeks.
Lash extensions add fibres to your lashes rather than curling them. Using tweezers and a lash adhesive, the technician isolates one natural lash at a time and bonds an extension to it, either a single fibre (classic) or a small fan of very fine ones (volume). A full set takes around one and a half to two and a half hours with your eyes closed.
They last as long as the lash they are attached to, so a set thins over three to four weeks as lashes shed, and most wearers book infills every two to three weeks. Keep them dry for the first day, clean them gently and never pull them. Oil-based products loosen the glue.
The adhesive can cause reactions, so a patch test before the first set is sensible, and a poorly applied set can weigh on the natural lash. This is general information, not medical advice.
Hamd Beauty does not offer lash extensions. The lash lift and tint gives a curled, darker look using your own lashes, and strip lashes are part of the evening makeup.
We do not offer this at present. It is explained here because people ask about it.
