A full, long wearing makeup for evening light and photographs: fuller coverage, defined eyes, lashes, contour and a set finish that lasts the night.
Evening makeup is designed for dim rooms, flash photography and long hours. The artist builds a fuller base and sets it, sculpts the face with contour and highlight, works the eyes in deeper or shimmering shades with a defined liner, applies strip lashes, shapes the brows, and finishes with a lasting lip and a setting spray. It reads stronger up close than a day look because evening light softens everything.
Allow about an hour and a half. Properly set, it holds through a wedding, an engagement, a dinner or a concert, usually six to eight hours, with a blot and a lip top up. Remove it fully at night with an oil or balm cleanser.
