Haircut
Also called: Trim and Cut and blow-dry
Cutting the hair to a new length or shape, or trimming the ends to remove splits, usually followed by a blow-dry to show the shape.
A haircut changes the length, the shape or both. A trim takes half a centimetre to a few centimetres off the ends to remove splits and keep the shape tidy. A restyle adds layers, a fringe or a new length. Hair is usually cut wet for precision and then blow-dried, with a dry check at the end; curly hair is often cut dry so each curl falls where it will actually sit.
A trim takes thirty to forty five minutes, a restyle an hour or more with the blow-dry. Most women trim every eight to twelve weeks; ends left longer than that split further up the strand and need more taken off later. A haircut is the only thing that removes split ends. No mask can seal them.
Hamd Beauty does not offer haircuts. Its blow-dry, event hairstyle and repair treatment are done on hair as it is, and are a good way to show off a fresh cut from your own hairdresser.
We do not offer this at present. It is explained here because people ask about it.
